Mixed Adults Small Group – 7:00pm Tuesdays

Pam Low

I am really looking forward to the Small Group experience being offered at our parish. Having the opportunity to share our Catholic faith is something that I know will help further develop my own faith. I believe that we each have so much to share and learn and that together we will grow stronger as a faith community! See more.

Mary Gallo

As an educator, I was immersed in a faith community that prayed together, celebrated together and shared a faith journey with opportunities for faith formation and growth through retreats and prayer groups. In this light, I am excited to lead a Small Group of like-minded adults who need a place to share their faith journey. See more.

This Small Group is perfect for men and women looking to deepen their faith and connect with others. Pam and Mary lead this Group which meets Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. They’re excited to take this journey with you! Sign up below, and someone will be in touch with you soon!

Unfortunately this group is full. Please consider signing up for a different Small Group.

Pam Low

My name is Pam Low. I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary to my husband Rob this year and am the mother to 2 teenage boys. A few of my interests include travelling, hiking and scrap-booking. Recently, I have started experimenting with some new recipes which my family sometimes appreciates.

I have been a member of St. Pius Parish my entire life and have been involved in the parish in a number of different ways. Long ago, when the church provided daycare for infants and young children in the basement, my mother and I helped to care for the children while their parents participated in mass upstairs. Sometime in the 80s, I became a member of the Folk Choir for the 10:30 mass each Sunday. In addition to providing musical accompaniment each week, we also performed at many weddings. (Please don’t assume that I have a good singing voice, I really don’t, but I do love to sing). While I attended university, my participation at St. Pius was put on hold until I returned to Brantford as an adult. Since then, I have helped as a Leader for the Children’s Liturgy, a Confirmation Leader, as well as working with Andrew to lead the R.C.I.C. program for children who are interested in becoming Catholic. With the onset of Covid, my role in the church has changed (just like everything else in the world) and I now assist as a Host Minister at the 11 am mass.

Mary Gallo

I have been an active member of St. Pius X parish for 45 years and have served in several ministries including marriage preparation programs. Now retired, I worked as a teacher and an administrator with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (BHNCDSB) for 35 years and as an Educational Consultant for the past ten years. As an educator in the BHNCDSB, I was immersed in a faith community that prayed together, celebrated together and shared a faith journey with opportunities for faith formation and growth through retreats and prayer groups. In this light, I am excited to lead a Small Group of like-minded adults who need a place to share their faith journey.
