SSVP Brant Thrift Store Volunteer Coordinator
Do you want to be part of a dynamic group of people who help serve the poor and our neighbours in need? Are you a people person, leader, team player and one who likes to volunteer? Then you could be the next Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Brant Thrift Store Volunteer Coordinator.
As Volunteer Coordinator your primary role will be to facilitate the development of volunteers in consultation and cooperation with members of the SSVP Brant Thrift Store Management Team. You will actively participate in 8 – 10 flexible hours of volunteer time per week at home and at the Thrift Store. Please note that this is a non-paid, volunteer position.
As a team player you recognize the importance of consensus and creativity while collaborating with volunteers and the Thrift Store Manager. You have some direct or related experience in training volunteers. You communicate comfortably and effectively in writing, orally and using technology.
Over 75 Volunteers work at our SSVP Thrift Store providing furniture, household items, clothing, and free food to our neighbours in need.
