About Us – Youth Ministry

Andrew Beach has been in the role of Pastoral Associate & Youth Minister here at St Pius since December 2011 after completing his Bachelor of Theology degree from Huron University College at Western University. Andrew was raised in Brantford and has been a member of the St Pius community all his life. He’s thrilled to be working with many old friends and ministering to the next generation of Brantfordians!

Below is a description of the Youth Ministry programming available at St Pius:

Grades 6-12

Saint Dominic Savio Youth: Grades 6-8

Our Saint Dominic Savio Youth Group is a great opportunity for students from a number of different elementary schools to make new friends as they prepare for high school. This group takes as their patron Saint Dominic Savio, the Patron Saint of Youth Choirs and the Falsely Accused. Through our gatherings, we will strive to learn about the life and piety of St. Dominic Savio, seeing him as a model of piety that we can relate to. Our Saint Dominic Savio Youth Group meets monthly (except for July & August) alongside our Saint Jerome Youth to participate in joint events. To learn more about our schedule, check out our calendar.

Saint Jerome Youth: Grades 9-12

The Saint Jerome Youth Group is a fantastic opportunity for teenagers to come together to learn about Christ, share in social activities, and develop their leadership skills. This group takes as their patron Saint Jerome, the Patron Saint of Students and Bible Scholars. Through our gatherings, we will strive to learn more about theology (the study of God), biblical study, and the value that can be added through a Catholic post-secondary educational experience. Our Saint Jerome Youth Group meets once a month (except for July & August) alongside our Saint Dominic Savio Youth. To learn more about our schedule, check out our calendar.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
