Lost & Found
It’s easy to get lost. And the consequences can be pretty serious. It can be nerve-wracking and even a bit scary. Not knowing where you are, or whether you are heading in the right direction – whether it’s in your car or in your life, is a scary feeling.
There are many different ways we can end up feeling lost. In this series, we’re going to look at some of the most common (and most challenging) and find out how the Lord can find us even when we are lost — and how he also can help us find our best self.
It’s easy to get lost when you are distracted. And there are so many things claiming our attention. And it’s not just married men and women who are anxious about the affairs of the world. It’s all of us. There is the situation with the pandemic, the craziness on the stock market, possible changes in interest rates, car and house prices, Canadian and American politics, the current state of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Blue Jays and much much more.
All these things are “the affairs of the world.” They are real. They have importance. But how much?
We need some perspective. We need a guide.
We need someone who can help us see what is truly important.
In the end there is only one person who can do that. Someone who teaches with authority: Jesus Christ.
