First Reconciliation & First Communion Registration

First Reconciliation & First Communion Registration

Welcome!

Please note that registrations for 2021 closed on December 18th, 2020. If you were not able to register prior to this deadline, please contact Andrew at pastoralassociate@stpiusbrantford.ca or call the Office at 519-753-8439.

Welcome to our First Communion and First Reconciliation registration page. We are so excited to be able to help you prepare for these important sacraments!

This year’s preparation process will look somewhat different from past years due to the situation with COVID-19. We have decided to embark on a mostly (or entirely, depending on the prevalence of COVID-19 transmission in our community moving forward) online preparation process this year in an effort to keep all our young people – and leaders – as safe as possible during these challenging times. We are excited to be able to offer this new form of preparation, and we are confident that we can deliver an excellent preparation process despite the challenges.

This page will provide you with all the information you need to navigate this process. However, if you do find that you have additional questions, please email pastoralassociate@stpiusbrantford.ca and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that registrations must be completed by Friday, December 18th to be adequately prepared for First Reconciliation in February of 2021 and First Communion in the spring of 2021.

If your child was not Baptized at St Pius, please provide us with a copy of the Baptismal Certificate by dropping it off at our Parish Office (open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am until 12:00pm), leaving it in the mailbox outside the Office, leaving it with our Welcome Desk before or after Sunday Mass, or emailing it to pastoralassociate@stpiusbrantford.ca

First Reconciliation Liturgy Registration

Due to limited capacity in the church as a result of physical distancing restrictions, we will be holding two First Reconciliation Liturgies this year. We would ask that you please use the below form to sign up for whichever Liturgy works best for you. Please note that we are limiting each Liturgy to 30 families based on the capacity of the building.

Please register once per family, and include the name(s) of the First Communicant(s) as well as a phone number and the total number expected to be in attendance. Registration opens on October 1st and closes on February 6th.
