Thank you so much for taking the time to assist both our parishioners and visitors by acting as Digital Hosts. Your role is an important one that allows people to feel welcomed and listened to. While the role is somewhat different depending on whether you are interacting with others on Facebook or our website, the general goals and guidelines are the same.
We have compiled a few resources here to assist you in your ministry. The general job description for the Digital Host Minister is available below, as are some general tips for how to host online. Facebook Hosting is, unfortunately, an area in which we can provide fewer resources. While our Website Host team have a variety of resources that have been compiled by other churches, we will need to create our own materials for Facebook going forward. A brief support guide is below.

How can I sign up for the mailing list?
Just head to our Bulletin Page and complete the signup form.
How can I register for the Parish?
Online registration is now available at our Parish Registration Page.
Is it possible to give online? How can I do that?
There are multiple ways to give: a one-time or recurring gift through Canada Helps (found in the Give Online section of our website); via e-transfer to bookkeeping@stpiusbrantford.ca; or by downloading and returning in-person or via scan and email a copy of the Pre-Authorized Giving (EFT) Forms.
Is it possible to register my child for Baptism? When are Baptisms held?
It is now possible to register for Baptism right on our website, by heading to the Baptism Registration Page. Please note that a Parish Registration must be completed if one has not already been completed. Baptisms are held regularly throughout the year, and once a registration form has been submitted a member of our Parish Staff will be in touch to discuss booking a date.
When are First Reconciliation/First Communion and Confirmation celebrations?
First Reconciliation typically takes place in February or early March, while First Communion typically takes place in the Easter Season (April, May, and/or June). Confirmation typically takes place in the fall. Registrations for Confirmation are usually available starting in September at the Confirmation Registration Page. First Reconciliation and First Communion registrations are usually available starting in October through the First Communion Registration Page. All the information is available on our Sacraments page once the dates have been selected each year.
