September 24th, 2021 the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) released a Statement of Apology by the Catholic Bishops of Canada to the Indigenous Peoples of this Land. The text of this apology, in both English and French, is available below and can be downloaded for future reference.

Thursday, September 30th, 2021 was the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada.
