Magnolia Planted to MARk the League’s 100th anniversary in Canada

As part of its activities marking in the 100th anniversary of the Catholic Women’s League in Canada, the League’s St. Pius Council has gifted the Parish with a Magnolia tree, to help beautify our grounds and public space. With the assistance of St. Pius Maintenance Supervisor Paul Reansbury, Council President Patricia McDougall (centre) and Past-President Vickie Coyle joined Father John Redmond on Friday, May 29th for a special prayer and blessing to mark the occasion of the tree’s planting.
